Free and Quick Connectivity for All
The carrier revealed that this complimentary, “quick and reliable” internet offering through Starlink is set to be available for customers flying economy, business, or first class starting next month.
Broad Deployment Across Various Carriers
The parent firm for BA, International Airlines Group, confirmed it had finalized an deal with Starlink to offer wifi access for 500-plus aircraft within their airlines, including Aer Lingus, the Spanish carrier, plus the low-cost airline.
Seamless Wifi starting at Gate to Arrival
BA explained that this introduction for this technology was included in a £7bn “transformation” plan and would deliver smooth connectivity access to flyers from the gate to landing, even when they are flying over large bodies of water or far-off locations.

Current Wifi Options
Limited connectivity service is currently provided for British Airways travelers through nearly all of their planes through its .air service.
Members of BA’s loyalty club are able to send communications and text-only messages in the air at no cost, while passengers wishing to access music, video, and films throughout the journey and are not travelling in first class might pay between four pounds ninety-nine to twenty-one pounds ninety-nine for one wifi package.
